Data dictionary catalogue — external sources and DMS integrations on one side, internal systems on the other.
Context

The team wanted to expand into customer intelligence, vehicle context, and Smart Marketing — but had no clarity on what data already existed, which integrations fed it, how each department defined it, or what was contractually available and actually usable.

Approach

Partnered with data and BI analysts to interview departments on sources, dependencies, pain points, and usage, then built a unified data dictionary and flow map cataloguing internal, first-party, and third-party data with definitions aligned across teams.

Outcome

Eliminated data ambiguity and gave teams a shared understanding of what the platform could actually do. Surfaced redundant vendor payments that cut roughly $6,000 from monthly spend, and grounded roadmap decisions in real financials. The proactivity led to leading the AI/ML agentic outreach initiative.
